Air One is a charter and schedule airline based in Rome, Italy, founded in 1983 as an air taxi service under the name Aliadriatica.

In 1994 the airline started charter and scheduled services with it's first Boeing 737.

Air One expended rapidly from there, then formed a partnership with the German airline Lufthansa in 2000, rusulting in most of Air Ones flights being code shared with the German company.
