Submit a Vote or Review for Albanian Airlines Albanian Airlines is reported to have the following aircraft fleet: 1 BAe 146 100 1 BAe 146 200 1 BAe 146 300 1 Fokker 50 1 McDonnell Douglas DC9 Albanian Airlines, based in Albania, started public transport in 1995, having been soley for the purpose of transporting politicians of communist Albania for the previous 4years. This was a joint venture with Tyrolean Airways of Austria, flying a single Austrian De Havilland Dash 8 aircraft In 1997, Tyrolean pulled out taking their aircraft, after which Albanian Airlines was privatised and operated with an Airbus A320. By 2001 4 Tupolev Tu-134 aircraft had been added (replaced later by BAe 146) The airline currently flies approximately 200,000 passenger per year on a total of 300 flights.
