Ryanair is reported to have the following aircraft fleet:
120 Boeing 737 800

Ryanair is a no frills airline with it's headquarters in Dublin but main operating base at London Stansted airport.

The airline was founded in 1985 with a 15 Embraer Turboprop plane flying from Waterford to London Gatwick at a time when flights between Ireland and the UK were monopolised by Aer Lingus and British Airways, both government owned at the time.
In 1986, Ryanair started flying from Dublin to Luton, in direct competition with the two giants.

The airline developped quickly after Michael O'Leary took control in 1991, adopting the model of using only one type of aircraft (they now have 120 Boeing 737's), achieving quick turnarounds, often at smaller regional airports keen to attract international flights.

In 2006, Ryanair carried over 42 million passengers, making them the largest low fares operator in Europe, and become the worlds first airline to carry more than 4 million international passengers in one month.
