Salzburg Airport, otherwise known as W. A. Mozart Airport, is located 4Km from the city of Salzburg, listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site, has a well preseved old town with Baroque architecture, was the birth place of Mozart.
Salzburg airport has two terminals, 1 and 2, which are adjacent to each other.
The airport is adjacent to a good road system heading east, west and south and is 2Km from the border with Germany.
There is a frequent bus service from the airport to Salzburg (during the day and evening), where there is also a train station. The 20minute journey into Salsburg costs approximately 2 Euros.
There are 4 restaurants or cafes, duty free and other shops, and WiFi Internet access.
