17/05/10 Ash Cloud Clears Ireland and the UK
The Irish Aviation Authority have stated this afternoon that all Irish airports are open and expected to remain open for at least the next 48 hours.
The UK National Air Traffic Service have stated that all UK airports will be open by 1.00am tomorrow.
The prediction charts are showing a no fly zone moving across the North Sea becoming close to the Dutch, German and Norway coastlines by midnight tonight. This is likely to disrupt flights to Scandinavia and helicopter flights to some North Sea oil rigs.
