07/07/10 Travel Disruption in Greece Expected Tomorrow Due to Strike Action

Disruptions are expected on Thursday 8th July as transport workers in Greece take further strike action in protest to planned government reforms. The planned 24hr strike is expected to seriously disrupt transport in Athens, and air traffic controllers are expected to stop work from 10am to 2pm. As a result, Olympic Air are reporting that they have cancelled 28 flights tomorrow (all domestic) and rescheduled a further 23.

Other airlines are likely to be affected also.
