Copenhagen Airport, otherwise known as Kastrup Airport, is located 8Km South of the capital city Copenhagen. The royal city of Copenhagen is one of the oldest cities in Europe yet is young at heart.

Copenhagen airport has two terminals, named 2 and 3 (Terminal 1 ceased to be used in 2015). In late 2010, the airport opened a low cost terminal facility called CPH Go, attached to pier D of Terminal 3, from where it is a 5-6 minute walk.
In 2013, an expansion to Terminal 2 was opened.

To and From the Airport


A train station below terminal 3 links the airport with Copenhagen and to Sweden via the Oresund tunnel and bridge to Malmo.
A metro (separate station at end of Terminal 3) also connects direct with Copenhagen, travel time being approximately 25 minutes, running approximately every 5 minutes during the day. A ticket office is located in Terminal 3.
There are several bus services from the airport.

A free shuttle bus links the terminals. There are several bus services at the airport to Copenhagen or Sweden and there is a taxi rank outside terminal 3.

Terminal Facilities


Facilities include 25 bars/cafes/restaurants, 3 banks or currency exchange facilities, approximately 80 shops, duty free, boutiques, 20 small and 1 large childrens play areas and wireless Internet access, free if you sign up to the free CPH advantage program.

The Hilton Hotel is within 300m of the terminal buildings, accessed via a covered walkway.

Copenhagen airport has Airport Carbon Accreditation, at the Optimisation level.

29.1 million passengers passed through Copenhagen airport during 2017, a very slight increase from the previous year and another record for the airport.
