23/06/10 Ryaniar Expanding in Spain, Rivalling Iberia for Top Airline
According to a report by ANNA (Airline Network News and Analysis), comparing passenger numbers for May 2009 and May 2010, Ryanair have shown an increase of nearly 37% to 2.27 million. Meanwhile Iberia, the Spanish flag carrier airline, have shown a decline of 4.6%, with a total of 2.55 passengers.
Meanwhile, Ryanair have 22 new routes starting from Malaga airport this week, 21 new routes set to start from Barcelona airport at the beginning of September, and 11 new routes planned to fly from Valencia in November.
