Love this airport. It was a tiny one long time ago, but the airport always expanded the airport for getting more and more passengers. Now they have 3 terminals, and just opened a new one between terminal 2A and 2B, called skycourt, what is the nicest terminal I ever saw after travelled a lot of airports. Would be nice to give subway station too, but there is enougs ways to get in to the city center. Friendly staff, with good english, nice stores.

Itīs a pitty, that isnīt available directly travel from centre to airport by underground, but I have very good experience with public travel system in Budapest. Terminal 1 for low cost airlines is very interesing place. Itīs historical building with very good service. Modern terminals 2A and 2B was smaller as public in inside. Coffes and relax areas was full waiting people with boring and nervous faces.

Too many flights leaving around the same time meaning that the check in area was very overcrowded. The queues were not seperated which led to queue jumping and delays. It took us over 45 minutes queuing to check in for our flight and we were among the first to start queuing. Facilities such as the restaurant & toilets were fine though.
