Bucharest Aurel Vlaicu Airport, otherwise known as Baneasa Airport, is located 8Km North East of the centre of Bucharest city, southern Romania
This was Bucharest's only airport until Bucharest Otopeni was opened in the late 60's.
Since 2012, it has only handled business flights.
To and From the Airport
There are scheduled bus routes linking the airport with Bucharest centre as does the tramway.
Taxis are available for the 10 minute journey into Bucharest.
