Geneva Airport Arrivals/Departures

Geneva Airport, otherwise known as Airport, is located 5 Km north west of Geneva, western Switzerland. Geneva airport gives access to ski resorts in the French and Swiss Alps including Les Gets, Morzine, Megeve, Chatel, Avoriaz, Chamonix, Villars and Verbier.

Although the airport is in Switzerland, it lies alongside the French border and has a French part in the terminal. It is possible to land at Geneva airport and go to France without officially entering Swiss teritory.

Terminal enlargement and refurbishmet has been ongoing in recent years. An old terminals (T2) with limited facilities has been used for charter fights during the winter.

To and From the Airport

The airport has good rail, bus and boat connections to the surrounding area with one ticket enabling you to travel by either form of transport.
The airport train station has direct access to the arrivals level of the terminal, with trains running every 12 minutes and a journey time of 6 minutes.
Free tickets for public transport into Geneva (valid for 80 minutes) are available from an automatic dispenser for arriving passengers in the baggage pickup area.
Swiss ski stations can be accessed by train and French stations by bus.
