Zurich Airport, otherwise known as Airport, is located 8 Km north of Zurich, northern Switzerland
An extensive upgrade to the terminal building took place from 2010 until 2016.
To and From the Airport
Trains depart from the airport station every 10 minutes to take you to Zurich station, from where there are good connections to the surrounding area.
A number of Swiss rail stations have facilities for checking in for flights, including taking your luggage.
There are also good bus services from the airport.

Zurich airport has a wide selection of bars/restaurants, 79 shops, 8 banks, VIP services, Internet access points, WiFi Internet access, and mobile phone charging stations.
In arrivals hall 2, a new feature for 2011 is switzerlandinfo+, where visitors can access airport and tourist information, book hotels, guided tours, events and concerts across Switzerland.
As of 2011, Zurich airport now has Duty Free shopping facilities available to arrivals.
